I’m Nikki, founder of Nikki McGar Interiors, based in Barwon Heads and working across Geelong, the Bellarine and Surf Coast.

After relocating to the Peninsula, I joined the team at Greenhouse Interiors, where I was mentored by renowned stylist and interiors writer Julia Green. This experience helped me hone my creative eye and deepen my love for bold, personality-filled design, laying the foundation for my own studio.

My time at Greenhouse Interiors also shaped my understanding of how art, colour, and layering can transform a space, something that continues to influence how I approach every project.

I work closely with my clients to create homes that feel deeply personal, spaces that reflect who you are and how you live, while still feeling elevated and resolved.

Known for my fearless use of colour and for blending vintage charm with modern aesthetics, I craft homes that are both functional and considered.

My work has been featured in publications including House & Garden and Inside Out, and I continue to bring a thoughtful, story-driven approach to every project.
